Abstract Curiosities
A wild, technical blog on math and computing!

About Us

The Website

Abstract Curiosities is a fun, technical blog that explores a wide variety of problems, techniques, and tools in mathematics and computing science. Everyday life, on the scale of authentic to contrived, is the hook of every post to investigate a mathematical idea. The blog is aimed at readers with an ongoing pursuit of, or experience in, undergraduate studies in mathematics or computing science.

The Maintainer

Hello, my name is Max (Maksym Neyra-Nesterenko) and I am both the maintainer and primary author of Abstract Curiosities! I created this blog as an outlet to explore my plethora of interests in different topics, theory, and applications of mathematics and computing science. I am inspired by Jeremy Kun's blog, whose posts I find hit a sweet spot when it comes to prose, length, technical detail, and subject matter.

I intend to publish new blog posts every two to three months, although this is subject to change as the blog's writing style and presentation style mature. I may also invite new contributors to author posts if I end up being busier than usual.
