My name is Max, and I am excited to publish the first post of my blog, Abstract Curiosities!
So what is this all about? This is a technical blog I put together to explore problems and ideas from mathematics and computing science that I find intriguing. The motivation for these problems and ideas can be from an industrial application, games, or a contrived, silly hypothetical posed by friends. The blog posts are targeted at readers with ongoing, or having completed, undergraduate studies in either mathematics or computing science. My background is in data science and computational mathematics; however, I find many things interesting, so expect a wide variety of topics! I hope to make the posts fun and informative while retaining sophistication and rigor.
